Pashtuns & Pathans

Our Ancestral Connections

Pashtuns and Pathans are the same people. They are just called different names in Afghanistan and Pakistan. According to all DNA reports, our connection to Pashtuns & Pathans goes back at least five generations in genetic distance, The genes are running through our family.  Genealogy organisations state that one generation is calculated at 25 years on average, so that would make five generations about 125 years. Approximately bringing us to around 1875 CE.

The Pashtuns/Pathans, according to latest research by  genealogy companies, academics from around the world, and even Israeli researchers now suggest through evidence, that the Pashtun/Pathans of Afghanistan and Pakistan are one of the lost tribes of Israel. Namely, the tribe of Benjamin.

Carrying those is most likely due to their Near East ancestry of South Levant, Greec
